BEAVER FULL MOON - November is the transition point between Autumn and the Winter season. The surrounding environment is decaying, animals are preparing for hibernation and snow is falling. In November, the full moon is known as the “Beaver Moon” to represent this changing season.

As Winter approaches, now is the time to start to finish any projects that are pending because as the month progresses, our energy requires us to set different priorities. It is a time to save our resources and energy. During this time we can prepare for the next year that is ahead, but it would serve us better to take this time for reflection and rest. When we take the time to rest, it gives us the chance to heal. Taking the time to heal helps us restore our energy and mind so that we are prepared for the next year’s adventures that await.

The festive season that is ahead requires a lot of energy and resources, but it is also a time for release, self-reflection and rest. As November ends with this full moon, it is important to have quiet moments for yourself so you can re-energise, look within, and expand our horizon

CANDLE CARE INSTRUCTIONS: -

• Please light your for candle 2 hours at a time, but absolutely no more than 4 hours at a time. If you burn a candle for too long, carbon can collect on the wick and make it unstable. This can lead to a dangerously large flame, smoke and soot. So, always follow the instructions on keeping your wick trimmed.
• Trim your wick. Make sure you keep the wick ¼ of an inch long. You can use scissors, nail trimmers, or even a wick trimmer. Keeping the wick trimmed will keep the flame burning evenly over the wax and maximize the life of your candle.
• Burn your candle until the wax melts to the edge of the candle vessel. Burning the candle this way creates what is known as a memory ring. When the wax remembers to burn to the edges of the vessel, it keeps the candle from tunnelling, or burning down the centre and leaving the outer wax un-melted. It takes approximately 2-4 hours for the first burn.
• Discard the candle when there is ¼” of the wax left. We know, it is sad to let a candle go when there’s a little bit left but discarding it at this point is for your safety.
• Do not leave the candle unattended.
• Extinguishing: We advise to use a candle snuffer as this will prevent your wick from drifting off centre.  Blowing out a candle is not recommended, as the liquid wax may splatter. If blown out your wick may continue to glow and emit a small amount of smoke; this is normal. Once extinguished, allow the wax to solidify before moving.
• Candle storage: Candles are sensitive to light and temperature, so store them in an upright position, in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep your candles dust free by using a damp cloth.
• Avoid droughts:  Candles burn best in still air, if you cannot avoid droughts, turn your candle periodically to avoid your candle burning unevenly.
• Please follow all the safety warnings stated on the CLP label on the bottom of your candle at all times.
